SOY-SESAME BEEF AND EGG NOODLE STIR-FRY
INGREDIENTS
300g Mr Chen’s Thin Egg Noodles, prepared to pack instructions
500g beef rump steak, thinly sliced
4 tbsp Mr Chen’s Oyster Sauce
2 tbsp Mr Chen’s Soy Sauce
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 sliced red chilli (optional)
3 cups green vegetables, shredded (eg/ baby spinich, bok choy, choy sum, snow peas)
1 cup bean sprouts
3 green onions, thinly sliced.
METHOD
Combine the oyster sauce, soy sauce and sesame oil in a small bowl.
Heat half the oil in a wok or fry pan on high heat and stir-fry beef for 2-3 minutes and remove.
Heat remaining oil in the wok. Add ginger, chilli and green vegetables and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes or until tender.
Add the beef, noodles, sauce and bean sprouts and stir-fry until well combined and heated through.
Serve topped with sliced green onion.
Cook the egg noodles in boiling water for approx. 10 minutes, according to taste. Drain well before adding to your favourite soup, stir-fry or salad.
