EASY CHICKEN MEE GORENG
INGREDIENTS
300g Mr Chen’s Thick Egg Noodles, prepared to pack instructions
1 cooked chicken breast (200g), shredded
2 cups thinly sliced vegetables (cabbage, capsicum, spring onions)
1 cloved crushed garlic
1 tbsp Mr Chen’s Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Mr Chen’s Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp kecap manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce)
1 tsp chicken stock powder
2 tbsp cooking oil
METHOD
Combine the oyster sauce, soy sauce, kecap manis and chicken stock in a bowl and set aside.
Heat wok on high heat, add oil and fry garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Cook vegetables for 1-2 minutes or until cooked through.
Add chicken, sauce and noodles and stir-fry until well combined.
Cook the egg noodles in boiling water for approx. 10 minutes, according to taste. Drain well before adding to your favourite soup, stir-fry or salad.
