EASY CHICKEN MEE GORENG

INGREDIENTS

  • 300g Mr Chen’s Thick Egg Noodles, prepared to pack instructions

  • 1 cooked chicken breast (200g), shredded

  • 2 cups thinly sliced vegetables (cabbage, capsicum, spring onions)

  • 1 cloved crushed garlic

  • 1 tbsp Mr Chen’s Soy Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Mr Chen’s Oyster Sauce

  • 1 tbsp kecap manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce)

  • 1 tsp chicken stock powder

  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

METHOD

  1. Combine the oyster sauce, soy sauce, kecap manis and chicken stock in a bowl and set aside.

  2. Heat wok on high heat, add oil and fry garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Cook vegetables for 1-2 minutes or until cooked through.

  4. Add chicken, sauce and noodles and stir-fry until well combined.

Cook the egg noodles in boiling water for approx. 10 minutes, according to taste. Drain well before adding to your favourite soup, stir-fry or salad.
