EASY CHICKEN MEE GORENG

INGREDIENTS

  • 400g Mr Chen’s hokkien noodles, prepared to pack instructions.

  • 1 cooked chicken breast (200g), shredded

  • 2 cups of thinly sliced vegetables (eg. cabbage,

  • capsicum, spring onions)

  • 1 clove of crushed garlic

  • 1 tablespoon Mr Chen's soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Mr Chen's oyster sauce

  • 1 tablespoon kecap manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce)

  • 1 teaspoon chicken stock powder

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

METHOD

  1. Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, kecap manis and chicken stock in a bowl and set aside.

  2. Heat wok on high heat, add oil and fry garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Cook vegetables for 1 - 2 minutes or until cooked through.

  4. Add chicken, sauce and noodles and stir-fry until well combined.

  1. Add noodles to a saucepan of boiling water.

  2. Gently stir to separate noodles.

  3. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Drain and rinse well before adding to your stir-fry, soup or salad.
