EASY CHICKEN MEE GORENG
INGREDIENTS
400g Mr Chen’s hokkien noodles, prepared to pack instructions.
1 cooked chicken breast (200g), shredded
2 cups of thinly sliced vegetables (eg. cabbage,
capsicum, spring onions)
1 clove of crushed garlic
1 tablespoon Mr Chen's soy sauce
1 tablespoon Mr Chen's oyster sauce
1 tablespoon kecap manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce)
1 teaspoon chicken stock powder
2 tablespoons cooking oil
METHOD
Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, kecap manis and chicken stock in a bowl and set aside.
Heat wok on high heat, add oil and fry garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Cook vegetables for 1 - 2 minutes or until cooked through.
Add chicken, sauce and noodles and stir-fry until well combined.
Add noodles to a saucepan of boiling water.
Gently stir to separate noodles.
Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
Drain and rinse well before adding to your stir-fry, soup or salad.
