BBQ PORK BUNS
Sticky BBQ pork. A light and fluffy bun. Pillowy perfection.
BBQ Pork Buns are one of my family’s favourites. A recipe that has been handed down for generations, the combination of sweet and savoury BBQ pork lying inside a pillowy steamed bun makes it difficult not to devour the whole pack yourself. Perfect as an entree, main, or even a cheeky snack mid-way through the day, this delicious classic is lovingly made the authentic Mr Chen’s way.

BOIL:
Do not defrost. Cook in boiling water for 8 minutes
STEAM:
Do not defrost. Lightly spray surface of steamer with oil. Steam over boiling water for 10 minutes.
PAN FRY:
Do not defrost. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil, dumplings and half cup of water in a non-stick pan. Cook on medium heat for 7 minutes. Remove cover and cook until crispy.
SERVE:
Serve with soy sauce and dig in!
Filling 60%: Pork (46%), Cabbage, Onion, Char Siu Sauce (Fermented Soybean Paste, Colour (150a), Modified Corn Starch (1422), Acidity Regulator (260), Colour (129)), Soy Sauce, Sugar, Chicken Powder, Salt, Sesame Oil, Tapioca Starch, Pepper.
